Tours with Thomas
A foreign country can seem intimidating, especially when you do not speak the language and while plenty of other American tourists come to Costa Rica it can be a difficult experience for the first time visitor. You need a “wingman” who will march to your orders, explore the venues that you have only heard about and really show you the hidden places like only an local can.
How Does it Work?
I charge a fixed rate of $30 an hour to personally show to venues in San Jose, Costa Rica where you as a single male traveler are likely to find activities of interest. The minimum length of any tour is 2 hours and I can work with you in advance to coordinate the date, location and itinerary.
Can I Bring my Friends?
Your tour is a personalized one on one experience so that your privacy is respected and the tour reflects your individual interests. You may choose to invite one or two friends, however groups are not permitted as it will attract too much attention in Costa Rica.
What Else Can Do You Do?
I can recommend hotels, travel arrangements and answer your questions by email. Sorry I can not actually arrange any actual dates for you as this is just a tour. Take confidence in knowing I am an American living in Costa Rica for many years, and apart from this blog I am retired.
How do I Book a Tour?
Just Contact Me to arrange a Tour Date. Payment in cash is expected at the time of the tour. Please indicate your arrival Date for San Jose, and let me know if you need a hotel recommendation. Also, please do not hesitate if you have any questions.
